Glebe Farm is situated in the middle of the pretty village of Exhall. William
Shakespeare is alleged to have referred in a poem to "Dodging Exhall", and
the tag has remained ever since. Quite what he thought Exhall was dodging
has never been established but it is true to say that if you wish to dodge
the hustle and bustle of the 21st century, you could do no better than pay
us a visit, for although peace and quiet you will have in plenty, a 10 minute
drive will take you to Straford-upon-Avon, 40 minutes to the National Exhibition
Centre in Birmingham or, in the opposite direction and by complete contrast,
Broadway in the beautiful Cotswold Hills. All this plus plenty of local country
pubs serving good food and the many historic houses and castles nearby, makes
us an ideal base from which to explore the Heart of England.
